New to drums?

We’ll listen to a song you like, find the pulse, and play along. Then we’ll try a few different sounds and hear how they change the feel.

Already playing?

Bring a song or a drummer you want to figure out by ear. We’ll hear what makes the part work, then try your own choices: leave space in the verse, build into the chorus, or see how a different fill changes where the song feels like it’s headed.

25 years behind the kit.

I’m Mike Brennan, a drummer with experience across genres, especially pop, punk, rock, and country. My lessons start with listening and playing together. We’ll work out what you hear, try it behind the kit, and give you room to make the part your own.
